GIVEAWAY || HANDMADE STYLE BY ANNA GRAHAM OF NOODLEHEAD!

I'm beyond thrilled and excited to be giving away a copy of my dear friend Anna Graham's new book "Handmade Style: 23 Must-Have Basics to Stitch, Use and Wear" today. Her blog Noodlehead, is and has been, one of my top five reads for as long as I've been reading blogs. Handmade Style is just as addicting, and stays true to her wonderful aesthetic and style.

I'm so proud of all of her successes and it's been so awesome watching all of her talents bloom and grow! With a gorgeous new book and equally fabulous fabric line, Rain Walk (just released this year from Cloud 9 Fabrics), it's truly been a joy to be her friend and cheer her on! She's going to hate me gushing on her, but seriously, she is one talented gal and also a wonderful friend. And I feel like Handmade Style reflects her quiet, yet powerful aesthetic.

One of my favorite things about Anna's style is her fabric choices. Her pairing of fabrics is alluring to me. She draws me in with her natural ease of combinations. She takes one of her fabulous patterns and pairs it with prints & solids that just make you want to reach into the book (or screen) and jump in! It's effortless for her and I find that so relaxing. Handmade Style makes the reader feel like, they too, can bring some of Anna's aesthetic into their own home and wardrobe and create their "own lifestyle collection that's all their own".

Anna's book is also beautifully styled and photographed. Anna did a lot of the photography herself, and when she wasn't behind the lens it was the talented Holly DeGroot (from the blog Bijou Lovely) taking pics. I loved seeing sneak peeks of Anna's home throughout the book too! She has a great vintage modern sensibility which I'm drawn to as well! I have the same vintage bowl on the back over (white with yellow accents) and it's one of my faves! That was so fun to see!

I also enjoyed seeing Anna herself on the cover and throughout the book! She looks so pretty!!!! <3 I always love when she posts pics of her modeling her items on the blog so it was great to see that in the book as well. It felt natural to have that transition from blog to book and I felt like it added a personal touch to the book.

As far as sewing books goes this is going to be one well loved book in my home. I can't even decide which project to make first. Seriously. It's killing me. Each day I flip through it trying to pick a fave and then voila - the next day I fall in love with another project and change my mind. There literally isn't one project in this book that I wouldn't make.

I highly recommend Handmade Style and feel that it would be a wonderful addition to any sewer's home library. If you enjoy sewing you'll enjoy Handmade Style. With  an effortless collection of patterns it would be hard to not find a new fave to sew in here! You literally can go from making flip-flops & a new dress, to a lovely new bag, quilt & pillows! It's awesome! Plus Anna's known for her well written patterns, techniques and diagrams. You'll no doubt pick up a new skill while making some of Handmade Style's patterns.
