KNIT ALONG || TO EXTEND OR NOT TO EXTEND

That time has come....our Tops, Tanks & Tees Knit Along Deadline is here. But who am I kidding...we never end on our deadlines...lol. We always vote to see if you would all like an extension.

So check out the poll below and cast your vote if you'd like to extend the deadline to next week or not.

And in the meantime don't forget to take some gorgeous finished shots of your projects! Our popular knit along Starring You post is just around the corner and I want to see some you all show off your projects in the best light possible! Check out My So-Called Handmade's Life guest post on how to take great finished shots of your projects! And use our hashtag #TTTKAL so I can find your projects on social media!

Remember that a majority of the time this will involve blocking your garment. This is a very important step to do if your pattern says you should block your garment. Lots of people are scared or nervous to block but trust me - the change in your end result is amazing! It's well worth the time and effort to end with a gorgeous handmade garment that looks fabulous.

You can find a few posts on blocking in our Tips & Techniques Page. There is one on general blocking HERE and also a great one from Hannah Fettig on Knitting with Linen that has some info on washing linen garments HERE.

I hope that even though our Tops, Tanks & Tees Knit Along is winding down that you will continue to be inspired to knit warm weather garments! I filled this post with some delicious Quince & Co. yarn just begging to be your newest project on the needles! I love all their palettes and their weights! So don't worry, just because the TTTKAL is over doesn't mean you have to put the needles away! Keep knitting! Pop on over to Quince & Co. and get inspired!

Plus our biggest knit along of the year - Summer Sweater Knit Along, is literally just around the corner! We're aiming for a mid-to late July start so get planning! I cannot wait!!!! I <3 SSKAL!

Thanks for knitting along with me! Are you going to keep warm weather knitting? Did you vote in the poll?
