NEW PATTERN - RIVULET FROM BROOKLYN TWEED WOOL PEOPLE 12

Meet RIVULET

I'm so very excited to announce I have a pattern in the newest Brooklyn Tweed Wool People Collection! Can we say pinch me now people! I literally cried when I found out I could cross this dream off my bucket list! It's been a long standing goal of mine to work with Brooklyn Tweed and I'm so very excited to be able to finally show you all what I've been busy working on! And then to have the whole collection release on my birthday today - well gosh darn - it's like icing on the sprinkles on the icing on the cake....lol.

DESIGN FEATURES

When designing RIVULET I wanted to play up the texture of this wave like geometric lace I fell in love with that reminded me of the subtle shifts of movement in the ocean. I paired it with my endless love of twisted rib and added some strategic button placements to create a versatile and effortless wrap that can be worn as both a cowl and a wrap. I hope it will fit effortlessly into your year round accessory closet.

STYLING

I really wanted a wrap that could easily be thrown on to mimic how I wear my favourite shawls - in a forward facing bandana style. The effect once buttoned creates a stylish and slimming effect that pairs with everything from casual to dressy clothing. Worn unbuttoned you have a classic and modern wrap that uses only 4 skeins of LOFT and knits up surprisingly quickly. I was so sad to see mine come to end I've already cast on another in one of my fave Brooklyn Tweed color ways - Hayloft.

You can take a look at some of the gorgeous versions the Brooklyn Tweed preview knitters made on Instagram here - #rivuletwrap and #woolpeople12. They did a gorgeous job and it's been fun seeing them all pop up!

You can view the full lookbook for Wool People 12 on the Brooklyn Tweed website HERE and see the whole collection on Ravelry HERE. I'm so honoured to be included amongst so many gorgeous designs and talented designers. I hope you all enjoy Rivulet and the rest of the collection.

Happy knitting and thank you so much for all of your continued support!
